School 33 Art Center, located in Baltimore, MD, will be having a community open house in July. Our doors are always open, but this a chance for residents who are new to us to explore our galleries, studio spaces and make art! This is a free event and donated funds will help make it happen.
For over 30 years, School 33 Art Center has been the bridge between contemporary artists and the viewing public. Our community open house, on July 7th, 2012 (3-6pm), will highlight the center’s gallery and studio spaces. Visitors will explore the building, meet local artists, listen to live music and create original artwork. Our goal is to remain an engaging and relevant community art center, by showcasing and sustaining emerging and established artists, and offering art classes for children, teens and adults. The funds will be used to defray the costs of the event, including artist fees, materials and refreshments. School 33 is an excellent arts resource, we want to continue to involve our surrounding community, Baltimore city and beyond!
