The Idea

24 Hour Art Show Artists complete works within 24 hours. Opening night reception and silent auction. $15 for the first canvas, and $10 for each additional submission. Everyone is encouraged to participate.

The Specifics

All funding will help cover expenses, including:

1. Material Costs for 12″×12″ wood canvas construction (1/8" plywood, 1/2″×2 1/2" pine furring strip, wire brads).
2. Promotional Costs (Printing, Advertising).
3. Opening Reception Costs (Refreshments, Entertainment).
4. Installation Costs.

Rule 1: The piece must be created in 24 hours.
Rule 2: All pieces must be on the 12 in. × 12in. wood canvases provided by the gallery.
Rule 3: Pieces cannot exceed the perimeter of the wood canvas.
Rule 4: Pieces must be dry and ready to hang.
