Ready your glue guns! To support this month’s 30-Day Challenge on art, we’re offering a $500 grant to an individual or organization with an innovative plan for bringing the visual arts to their community. Submit an application here for a chance to win.
Have an itch to bring art to your community? Whether you prefer the title “artisan,” “crafter,” or “the next Michelangelo”, we’re willing to bet that you’re sitting on some beautiful ideas. GOOD’s March 30-Day Challenge is “Art Everyday,” and we’d like to help you to put your creative skills to use in your community. Perhaps you’d like to introduce friends and neighbors to your favorite artists, or teach a class about finger painting. Or maybe you’d like to showcase the work of student photographers at a benefit gallery show. Tell us how you would use the cash, and GOOD Maker will award $500 to the plan that receives the most votes from the community.
The Art Everyday Challenge is open for submissions between March 1 and 22 (noon Pacific Time). From March 22-30, we’ll open it up to a public vote. Rally your colleagues and friends to get behind your effort and join the GOOD community in deciding which idea is most deserving of the cash to make it happen.
