The GOOD 30-Day Challenge: Art Everyday

Have an itch to bring art to your community? Whether you prefer the title “artisan,” “crafter,” or “the next Michelangelo”, we’re willing to bet that you’re sitting on some beautiful ideas. GOOD’s March 30-Day Challenge is “Art Everyday,” and we’d like to help you to put your creative skills to use in your community. Perhaps you’d like to introduce friends and neighbors to your favorite artists, or teach a class about finger painting. Or maybe you’d like to showcase the work of student photographers at a benefit gallery show. Tell us how you would use the cash, and GOOD Maker will award $500 to the plan that receives the most votes from the community.

The Art Everyday Challenge is open for submissions between March 1 and 22 (noon Pacific Time). From March 22-30, we’ll open it up to a public vote. Rally your colleagues and friends to get behind your effort and join the GOOD community in deciding which idea is most deserving of the cash to make it happen.

Submission tips:

• Include a photo or video that represents your idea. For example: a logo, a photo related to your idea, or an inspirational video.
• Photos should be in JPG, PNG, or GIF format, at least 572 × 346 pixels and no larger than 10MB.
• Write at least 3-5 sentences that explain how the $500 award will enable you to implement your idea.
• Email us at maker@goodinc.com with any questions.

• This Challenge is open for submissions from March 1 to March 22.
• Visual arts can include ceramics, drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, design, crafts, photography and more!
• Submitted projects must be able to be activated with $500. Let us know how you’re going to put this money to work!
• Projects will be featured on this page and public voting will be open from March 22 to March 30.
• The project with the most votes will receive $500 to implement their idea.
